Sounds great to me...Lately I have been making broth in the slow cooker..Putting it on first thing in the morning so it is ready for the kids coming in from school/college..How would you do it?
I got the broth mix in on an overnight soak.
Tomorrow prepare some leek, onion, carrot, bacon, cabbage & turnip.
Add all that to the pan with a chicken stock cube, salt & pepper and maybe some white wine.
