    Yeah, but that's boring. Right now, even if we win this is something of a forgettable cup tie. But if we use Maya as a striker and he wins it? Fond memories for life.

    Really feels to me like Puel's philosophy is to play at the lowest tempo that may still get us a win so as to use the least amount of energy required.


    I know Les Read tried to argue against he 'boring football' accusations but when it's every game I'm afraid I don't see how he can not see it (I can see why he has to be diplomatic and disagree with the comments though).

    Steve Clarridge's comment that it's 'like watching England' is spot on
