Remaining in the Championship, with still a real possibility of dropping to League One, is NOT anything big. Don't count your chickens, Ristac.

as with Monk, people should sit back and give Radrizzani time ... he has an impeccable record in business, is a self made man and has excellent contacts in business and football ... his company specialises in media rights in sport, so he knows how to maximise revenue potential

his takeover bid started in May last year (same time that Monk was appointed) and finally concluded not long after Cellino's ban was announced ... he is clearly ambitious and wants to improve Leeds, and I don't take what he says as boastful promises ... he hasn't promised to buy back ER, but simply said it makes good business sense to have your own stadium, be it ER or elsewhere

Radrizzani is nobody's fool, he knows what he's doing and for now he is keeping Cellino sweet ... from February, when Cellino's ban starts, Radrizzani will take over the running of the club .. in June Cellino will hand over the remainder of his his shares, hopefully with a nice bonus payout from Prem money

I just don't understand why there is a need to constantly find fault with everything .. we have been praying to be in this position for 12 years now, so let's embrace the good and focus on the positive ... Radrizzani hasn't done anything to be condemned in this way

I dont think anyones condemning Radzianni but many are cautious, very cautious about him, including myself and I believe rightly so. Our caution may prove to be groundless and I hope so, but weve just been stung too many times. As the old saying goes, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating and when he begins his rebuilding or strengthening work at Leeds, it will be apparent for all to see, even the doubting thomases. Dont forget, at this time he needs Cellino as he has admitted he knows nothing about running a football club. As someone Billy who has survived 33 years self employed and who can say in that time, Ive only been "caught" a handful of times by dodgy customers, I operate on the idea that a new customer must earn my trust as with a friend or anyone else. Thats the way I see the new half owner. Im sure we'll see enough progress from now till the summer on contracts and new sponsors etc to earn everyones trust. I hope he ultimately proves to be what we originally hoped gfh would be

Its not a question of finding fault, after over a decade of con men and shysters we are naturally suspicious. The only good thing we are sure of is Gary Monk and the squad look to be going places.

I think the point for me Billy, is hasn't done anything at all yet to warrant this grandiosity. Like everyone else I wish he'd just get on with his plans so we can see something tangible happen. Funding the couple of signings Monk says he wants this transfer window might be a start before he even mentions ER. It might be that this blaze of publicity is to show that despite the 50/50 ownership he is now the top dog?

Exactly this plus the previous two answers, yes I will give him time but that time is for him to prove himself, no welcome opening arms from me until he has actually done something... Let's look at what he has done so far, handed over a large sum of money to Cellino..... So far it stops there...

I agree about 2 guys owning 50% each Ristac, going to cause arguments therefore, I can only presume that someone has taken the reigns on final decisions, or they've come to some sort of agreement.......:emoticon-0148-yes:

what blaze of publicity? what grandiosity? he was humble, and he clearly kept Cellino onside .. he stated he wants to build .. he did not promise to buy ER, he said it's a good idea to own your own ground .. this guy isn't here to fail, that's for sure, and he is in a different class to Cellino who has owned football clubs to feed his rampant ego

as for no knowledge of running clubs, trust me, he probably knows more than Cellino since starting his negotiations in May last year .. he took advice from Dalglish as to which club he should invest in, so it stands to reason that he will be getting more advice from King Kenny .. with his working with club owners across Europe on media rights you can be certain that he will be tapping into their knowledge

Radrizzani hasn't come into Leeds blind and ignorant, he is very well prepared .. he has a clause in place to buy out Cellino, so for him to get that agreed took some skill .. he has been planning this purchase carefully, and isn't some random dumb fools brought in by a thieving Bates so he could sell off his web of financial strife .. this new owner is a very successful man, he sees Leeds as an extension of his business model, and he will no doubt be working on good sponsorship deals through his business relationships

caution I get, but casting rocks in his direction so early on I don't .. until he does something that tells me he is a dodgy crook who's here to flip the club for a quick buck I will support him fully, because that is what it means to support Leeds United .. stoning him because of the sins of past owners is not fair, and makng demands of him isn't right either, just let him get on with it just as Monk has .. no, there was no bluster or big promises, but merely a clever, organised man talking common sense

I think that once Cellino is gone, Radrizzani will use his network to bring in some serious money to catapult Leeds forward, that is the most sensible thing to do .. proper investors gave Bates and Cellino a wide berth because of who they are and how they operate .. the FA ban has helped to make up Cellino's mind that it is in fact time to go, and Radrizzani is giving him the chance to do just that with the potential of a bonus

Not sure there's any rock throwing Billy, merely fans like myself adopting a wait and see approach. I've no doubt he's here to succeed as he has to make money for his investors. Like I've said, we'll all know within six months how good he is, hopefully very

Leeds fans are obviously suspicious after our last few owners, but I have to say I am more confident about this guy than the rest. Some say he hasnt done anything yet, but they're wrong. Nobody has heard or seen a thing of Cellino sice Monk was employed. Rad was involved back in June and has been involved ever since. So pulling the strings and keeping Cellino calm and silent has been massive. Confirmed also that Rad did a deal before officially taking Leeds with Adrian Bevington (Ex Prem League Boss) He runs a sports media business and Rad is now doing stuff with him which can only be good for the club

Wow, that is one serious overreaction, if an eloquently put one, to a word of caution.
I am not digging Rad out but like it or not, he has been a walking press conference since he arrived. Pictures drinking champagne, talk of investing in youth, tweets of 'me touring ER' & 'me meeting Garry and the players'. He's not even the majority shareholder yet.
Doc makes good points about tangible (all I've said I'll judge on) his impact but that is more about curbing Cellino' s erratic behaviour.
I totally agree that he is here to be successful but neither of us know what he views as success, nor his motives for buying in. Is it to see us as European champions with him as chairman or a profitable portfolio to move on?
You've chosen faith in him, I've decided to adopt 'wait and see', we both hope you're right. Found your view of 'I'll support him fully as that's what it means to support Leeds United' as odd or we would be saying the same of bates and all the others surely?
I'm sorry you see my not blowing a fanfare and putting out the bunting for Rads quite just yet as stoning him.
