It's a City fan that owns that URL. Adam Pearson never used Hull City Tigers, but you may be thinking of the e-mail domain which has always been 'hulltigers'. No idea why that is. The website was indeed (and I think still is) a crappy template thing that many clubs have. That doesn't affect the address though. They still own hullcityafc.net and have it redirecting to their new URL. Presumably because they know that plenty of people will have it bookmarked and not think to type in anything as daft as hullcitytigers.com And as AlRawdah said, hullcity.com is not owned by the Trust although as Happy says, does indeed redirect to our website.
Equally as interesting. Surprising the clubs not tried to get it but I suspect they don't need or want the inevitable aggro. I wonder when the current owner of it acquired it. Actually, I'm going to check that. Whole thing is quite intriguing.
Why would they want to buy a domain that says Hull City when they claim that's not what we're called? They wouldn't need to anyway. As has already been pointed out, they already have hullcityafc.net which was perfectly serviceable for years and is one that people are familiar with.

Didn't someone purchase the name 'Hull Tigers' and register it with Hull Sunday League or something during the name change fiasco in order to stop another club being called by the same name ?
So he said. Do you know him? I do. He may have genuinely pursued it, I don't know. I had my doubts though. He's two posts short of a full goal.
