Does anyone really care though.... really? I mean this was all nice for a while but it is rather boring now that its 3 days later and the pain in the blues and mancs hearts has still not abated?

I'm just looking forward to our next game and seeing what young fellow LFC will blood next..

You're absolutely right. The past is the past. The fact that Utd couldn't beat us at our weakest this season means nothing.

We have a 3 point cushion to 5th and a +10 goal difference. 6th is irrelevant. We have 17 games to play, 10 of which are at home and only 2 of which are against our top 6 rivals.

Moreover, Couthino is back, Hendo is back, Matip is fit and ready to go once the FIFA dickheads sort it out, I believe Clyne will be back at the weekend, Mignolet is in form, and Mane will be back in a couple of weeks.

We're the top scorers in the league this year without being dependent on a prolific striker and are widely believed to be the most entertaining team to watch this season.

We haven't been held to ransom for average players and have a happy team led my an inspirational manager.

Sure, the wheels might come off but the probability of that is no more or less than it happening to anyone else so right now, other than Chelsea, we're right where need to be. <ok>

    On the button.

We should really be able to challenge if Chelsea's wheels come off and with costa creating waves who knows? Our only challengers to the chavs seem to be Spurs. I am really surprised how they've carried on from last season. They can crush middling/ weak teams easily and so far they never look like losing points to any of those.

We just have to make sure we punish the non-top6 sides. Any draws will honestly now look like a defeat. Just like the draw against the mancs not only damaged them damaged us too as we fall 2 further points behind.

    Absolutely right. Let's move on.

We got a draw when we were expecting a defeat. But neither the mancs nor ourselves got a lot from the result. The chavs and Spurs are laughing their heads off. We behave as if we've managed some extraordinary feat.

Bob on. It won't happen, in almost all certainty, but it would be criminal not to chase them, and Spurs and us must do that. No reason, if Chelsea continue to pull away, that we can't get second. BUT, I do think we need a couple of squad signings and maybe a loan or two before the end of the month.

Why are you spoiling my fun, I was enjoying reading all the bellends spouting the same bollox they had heard on telly despite the truth being as you said that utd were far more dangerous playing it through the middle.

Although Liverpool did press high at times it was not continuous and even towards the end of first half Liverpool started to have two banks of players in our own half in attempt to tighten the midfield. this was somewhat successful leaving utd with no other option but to hoof it.

PS I do not have a problem with bringing screech on to play hoofball to as it is a useful option at times but I do take issue with that gobshyte Neville trying to spin it as some kind of tactical masterstroke to avoid a high press that wasn't even there.

I'll say again, the game changed dramatically when Ford came on. Suddenly, almost, we were not only repelling them but creating more chances. They did what they did, but you're so right about Neville, and that dickhead Savage, who said that Liverpool did what Uniturd did at Anfield: not- we created chances and countered (especially in the 2nd half), whereas they just had one header on target at Anfield and barely crossed the halfway line.

And after the Anfield game, Monghino made that dig about Liverpool not being 'The last wonder of the world, as the media had said'. Credit to Klopp for not saying that Unitard's unbeaten run was based on a castle made of sand and dodgy decisions, and they're not even the last wonder of manchester, never mind the world.

Was that a sweeping statement about all Liverpool posters or a lazy sweeping comment about a select few?

Any chance you could be specific about what "we" would rather ignore?
