As I have said, many times in the past, everything I write on this board, for me, is about the banter.

Everything, Bodi. I save the serious stuff for the Spurs board.

So, not just the Juggernaut thread, and the Power-Shift thread, but almost every thread I have ever created on this board is about the banter.

Sure, I would like to think that most of my threads have, at their heart, a serious topic for discussion, but it is generally the case that my method of delivery leans heavily towards banter.

Do I really come across to you as someone who believes in literally everything I write? Speak honestly.

If I do - and if you have genuinely not read the many other times that I have written in these explanatory terms - please listen to what I am now saying.

I am mainly in this for the banter.

If you take nothing else away with you, please take that.

I do appreciate that it can be difficult, because I am, after all, a Wum Master. All too easily, you will be lulled into the false belief that I actually mean what I write.

On a scale of 1 to 10 - 1 being "No wummery, he was being ****ing serious" and 10 being "Beware! Highly Toxic Wummery!" - how high would you rank that comment for wummery?

But by the same token, you cannot just say **** and then when you are pulled on it say "I was Wumming".

When a muppet like Flanders spouts "forever in our shadow!" at Spurs supporters, he genuinely believes that Spurs will never finish above Arsenal.

Remember, he's only 16 or 17, so he's never seen Spurs finish above Arsenal.

Listen, I am under absolutely no illusions about the reactions that certain of my comments will get. That's why I make them, half the time.

I am disappointed that certain people, you included, cannot see that I am being mischievous with such comments, because that feeds the trolls such as Pixie and Skiddy, and they really are fat enough, mate.

You can retroactively claim all your comments were banter when pulled on them, but you cannot arbitrarily decide whether other peoples posts were genuine or not based on whether they fit your narrative of events.

 

No I understand that most of what you say is to evoke such reactions from Piskie & Co, what I have been trying to understand is why you do this, and what you get out of it.

However, I think it is more obvious with some posters than others that a chain is being yanked.

You know that's the case with me, because I have admitted to it.

I'd be prepared to believe that Flanders has been pulling our chain if he admits that Spurs will finish above Arsenal soon.

Let's take this one step at a time.

You admit that you are aware that, most of the time, I am wumming Pixie.

You now ask, why do I feel the need to wum him so much?

I think it's because I like shooting turkeys, mate.

When you made those predictions about Spurs finishing above Arsenal, and Arsenal never finishing above Arsenal with poch in charge, you were not 'joking'.

You made them when it looked for all intent and purpose that Spurs would finish above us last season. You made them in an arrogant way that came back to slap you in the face.

That's why you are pulled up and laughed at for them
