You have been harping on about the "North London Power shift" and the "Spurs Juggernaut" on these forums for at least the last 5-6 years.
I know the juggernaut thing was mainly a WUM (and I loved it), but ever since you guys made it into the Champions League you have been talking about it.
Back in the day when you had Bale and Modric and Redknapp as manager etc.

And didn't you say last season "PISKIE knows that as long as Poch is our manager, Arsenal will never finish above us"? Piskie had it in his sig for weeks.
So how can you say you have never predicted Spurs will finish above Arsenal?

 

To be fair, we all predicted it last season in the last few weeks. I remember advising people not to assume it until it was in the bag mathematically but in my heart of hearts, I thought second place was done a few weeks from the end. Was at the West Brom game (which is where the dream died, not at Stamford Bridge) and knew we'd be second after that. In the scheme of things, 2nd/3rd makes little difference, but on this occasion it made a big difference.

Thats not what it means.

Forever doesnt mean you HAVE always been in their shadow, it means you will forever be in their shadow, from the day that quote is said.

Like if I were to say "David Bowie will be dead forever"...Yes he will be, that doesnt mean David Bowie has always been dead, that he never lived.

 

Exactly, they are forever in our shadow until they can surpass our achievements.
