    Fair enough...

At the moment I would like to see us get closer to or into top 6 although that will be difficult?

I just want to be more consistent 2nd half of season tbh we are in a fairly substantial transition so?.

From outside i assume that this season is more about Koeman instilling his ideas in the squad while also getting rid / buying players to suit those plans

I think it's between you guys and City for 4th tbh if Pep doesn't inject some legs into midfield it's happy days for you guys...

The Spuds I think will finish 2nd with the Arsenal in 3rd just

Think we can assume Chelsea make top 4 after that any 3 from the other 5 .The biggest worry for us is that we clearly have the thinnest first team squad,

Yeh for sure I think there are going to be wholesale changes which may mean consistency could be a problem for a while I fear?

The difference being most managers take over and for a while play what they think is the best way to suit the personal but Koeman (as did Klopp tbf) took over and has tried to get the players to play how he wants which tbh has been hugely hit n miss as our players don't really suit (yours do tbf)

    Exactly.

We are hoping we have near as possible full strength every week to push for that top 4 spot, as unlikely we are adding this window, but will the rest.

Is Pep going to have a silly last week in the window to spend £200 mill or utd?

Doubt Chelsea will spend silly but never know.

Yup even though at full strength you are capable of destroying teams you guys only need a small change and you look ordinary..
If Klopp gets in a few quality back ups you'd be laughing

I honestly doubt any of the top teams will buy this window, except maybe a bargain squad player.
Yes we can all name positions in every team that can be improved/strengthened but can we name available players to do that.
That said, there have been some cracking players bought in January that had supporters saying "who?" at the time. Just think it has been very quiet, even with the ****e, ever present rumours.

<doh> Holgate had his early starts when Williams wasn't signed and Everton had 1 or 2 healthy defenders <doh>

this is his 1st start on Merit when other Everton defenders are fit.
    It is too late <ok>

Who's fault is that? It's not that of your rivals for 6th.
The ACON is a set date, Klopp(FSG) has had time to cash in on assets to release additional funds fo squad depth.

The #excuseinplace now is ACON and Mane being out, it was injuries before and before that fixture congestion.

    We've already replaced Barry....

    Baines has extended his deal.

Jags will rejoin Moyes this month, as soon as we sign another CB.

Deloufeu will join AC but only on loan - already replaced with Lookman

    Barkley - <laugh>

Kone is utter trumpet and could be replaced with a ****ing traffic cone and be just as effective, but yes we need another striker.

If Bolasie doesn't recover (and I'm sure he will) he'd be covered by an insurance payout.

Replacing Deloufeu with Lookman is a move that means you're writing off next season too #anothertransition

Bolasie's insurance is irrelevant, he's a decent settled player who needs covering

Maybe Fonte at CB? He's #desperate to move and you don't mind overpaying old players

Does your <laugh> indicate you're happy with Barkley? You should pray someone's stupid enough to offer £20m and get rid

Has Baines offered you anything in the last 18 months? He's just cockblocking your better FBs at this point

Would that be the same Lookman who took all of 3 minutes to mark his debut with a goal against City?

He didn't look like he needs a season to find his feet love x

    We're not interested in Fonte.

Barkley is going nowhere and is starting to improve under Koeman after 3 years of having Martinez blowing smoke up his arse.

Baines had months out with injury but is over 30 now, but he's still the best LB at the club. Garbutt looked the obvious replacement but hasn't come on as was expected. Galloway isn't a natural LB. So no is the answer to that.

but that was only city :)

I'm glad you are joining the long queue of fonte haters as a club.

Barkelys waistline is the only thing not going anywhere.
