Jason E. has signed a 1 year contract! Very pleased for him and everyone connected to the club. I feel he will only enrich our options in both midfield and forward; especially off the bench.
well pleased he`s back good experienced player with added quality could be a very useful asset to the squad
Not this week he won`t Hayes did ok saturday....which means I`ll get a barrage of reponse saying Hayes was useless
He played a cameo for us in pre season so can't be that far from fit. A player who wants to play for the club and thinks he has unfinished business is a sensible move. Will be able to score at this level.
Agree with all above comments. Much better option IMO than Raziak. Despite his age still a class above L1 and he should supply / score goals when he plays. Can see him becoming our super sub. Above all, as SVC says he WANTS to play for us. Good biz all round
Thought Hayes had a good game on Saturday. Some lovely footwork at times, bit dodgy at others- but he wasn't scared to run at B'mouth, nor to drop deep and get involved in helping Stephens and Hollands. Euell will need another 2-3 weeks of cameo's and behind close door friendlies to get up to scratch.
A good player, but is he a striker these days - he played midfield for us in his latter days - as his goal scoring record over the last few seasons isn't good, indeed he's only got 10/11 goals in total in the last 4 seasons! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Euell
Not from me, you won't Mike - thought he was excellent, with a very sharp turning circle for a big bloke.
Not from me either Mike, thought Hayes had a good game, held the ball well and his one disaster was rushing his single chance on goal. Saw a lot from him and reckon once he and BWP have had some time together they'll be a great unit. Very happy for Jason Euell-score-again, but doesn't have me convinced we've got a suitable back up if Bradley's injured.
I was impressed with Hayes...Thought he kept the berries centre backs busy all game and looked tidy on the ball. Maybe he snatched a bit at the one chance that fell for him...on the other hand it was a tight(ish) angle and on another day it will fly in the far corner. Well happy with what he showed....Team player.
easily capable of standing in for Hayes, not that Hayes had a bad game against Bournemouth as he played ok but Euell would inspire a lot more confidence coming off the bench in search of a winner than the recent misfits we've seen in the last few seasons
