    That's worth quite a bit.
I've got the 7" of that and a fair bit of what they did up to the Joshua Tree but none of the really rare ones.

Spoke to you before about it,when I was an apprentice and paid on Thursday bought a record every week and came across that record for 99p in a second hand shop. The record flucuates between a grand or less but when U2 are popular may go up again. All the records are numbered, mine being 298 and only 1,000 pressed.

ps forgot there's actually a site just for that record, how sad is that?

Great thing to own, 1000 in existence, probably a few less now as some ended up in the dump and such a huge worldwide band.

True 20 years ago might have flogged it but not now, knew mad U2 fan and met him in the supermarket and he asked me about it,5 years since I told him.In all honesty would give it to a true fan or collector for market price so Stopme will give you a shout if I let it go.

My Da sold bootleg Beatles records from Germany in the early 70s to pay for his mate to move to Tasmania.

Would be worth a fortune now I assume.

Matter of interest,is The Southern Death Cult "Fat Man" 12" worth anything and what about first pressing of "Blue Monday"?

Bootlegs don't tend to be worth much, collectors are generally after official releases but could be some of them are sort after. They might have otherwise unreleased material for instance but in this day and age everything is available online in bootleg form so imho the market for them has gone.

Just a few quid each probably, check your vinyl out on discogs.com and pay attention to exactly which release you've got as you might have a real rare one.

Not really. You can get to Tasmania for less than £500 nowadays.

    Still a lovely gesture, though.
