    Migs had a very good game
    my favourite bit was in 2nd half when a cross came in to a crowded box and he came right out & punched it about 15 - 20 yards out of the box plus towards the touchline.
    Thought it showed the improvement in that area of his game that started in the latter part of last season and has continued in this one.

    Neville is a numpty - I remember he laid into Klavan for that Mkhi chance when it was Lovren was out completely out of position.

    I sort of agree with neville.... i would love to see mings punch zlatan in the chops and knock him out while clearing a ball in the air.

    deffo go through someone when they are a free shot. but then me and gaz are old school i suppose.

    In the air I agree, you can get away with it always.

    Look at the Lovren tackle - that was a great tackle and commentators didn't know if it would be yellow or red!? RED!?!? Ffs

    Just can't get away with clearing everyone in your way these days

    I didn't hear what GNev said.
    Mig obviously wasn't expecting an under-hit pass and so had to be really sharp coming out to block the danger. Both of those clearances were as good as anything else he did. MOTM for me.
    Tbf to him he's not done a lot wrong this season, he started off well enough and only lost his place when Karius was fit because Klopp had wanted the latter to be number 1.
    Mig has always had the odd mistake in him and no doubt if he gets an extended run another one will come along - then everyone can go back to calling him ****. :(

    never understood the obsession here regarding catching the ball in crowded penalty areas. If unchallenged yep catch otherwise punch it clear , the added bonus being you might punch an oppo player.
    I remember David James catching any number of crosses but then crashing to the ground as he fell over another player ,often our own ! , and the ball coming loose when he crashed to the ground often ending in us conceding <grr>

    Saved one-on-one with Firmino, and Windy stuck one right at him when he had the whole goal to shoot at. But no, he didn't have to pull one out like he did to Ford's effort in the return fixture.
