Not at all...just the danger of starting at the top..he didn't build it, he didn't really change the philosophy as they call it ( I don't buy in to that stuff...same with us) but not exactly the same challenge....hey if he turns it around, builds his team again at one of the richest teams in Europe and looks as pretty as that barca team doing it in the PL....then I'll give him the credit ...sort of

Pep certainly deserves credit for what he did at Barca - they were struggling before he came and he turned it around and created arguably the best club team in the history of the sport.

We need to put a run together. Winning the next five games is going to be a good start.

True - but we shouldn't discredit what he has achieved in the game so far, especially after only 5 months in the EPL.

I think its more of a surprise at how little football they play and their lack of ambition going forward. Klopp was extremely surprised at, for example, how many players Sunderland packed behind the ball at Anfield and showed no ambition to leave their 18 yard box.

The difference shows when English sides step into Europe and get taught footballing lessons by clubs that are considered lesser in the English media. Like Arsenal Vs Monaco, Liverpool Vs Sevilla, Man Utd Vs Athletic Bilbao etc.

You only have to look at how dominant the top sides are. This league is blessed with some of the best managers in the world.

Liverpool cannot afford to buy some of their players or pay their wages.

    Pleased with the draw personally.

    Wasn't expecting anything.

If United had won that then they would have had huge momentum and would have us in their sights and we'd be struggling 4/5th.

However, we're still right in the mix.

United really needed to win that.

On the game, I thought it was pretty poor with loads of missed placed passes.

Thought we largely defended well but Klaven sadly bottled a 50/50 against Fellaini which eventually led to the goal. Otherwise pretty good.

Going forward I thought we were awful. We couldn't string 3 quick passes on the deck to save our lives. Little flicks, scuffs and chips which went straight to United or killed any momentum was commonplace.

I thought Klopp should have bought Sturridge on last 10. We had a couple of big chances at the end and I feel he could have buried one - particularly Wynaldums effort.

Worried about the form of Can and Firminho atm. Thought Can was again really poor.

Couts coming back is huge for us.

Shout out to Migs who was excellent.

Overall pleased but we need to regroup quickly.

I didn't think Firm was terrible? He certainly looked more lively when Cout came on, think he's the one as close to Cout's wavelength (showed as soon as Cout came on and set him up). He hasn't looked a real goal threat recently but think that's because he's been moved more wide left which hasn't suited him as doesn't have the pace to cause issues to the full backs who are generally quicker than him. However, in the centre he can out manoeuvre the slow CB's.

Now Cout's back it'll be interesting to see if Klopp puts him back left with Firm central and Lallana wide right like we ended today or if he'll keep Origi or Sturridge central and move Firm/Cout either side. I'm not sure the later would be best as it keeps Firm & Cout apart and they are most dangerous when they can link up.

Agree with Can on the ball. Looks like he's trying to do too much. Too slow with the passing, but his strength and defensive play today was actually pretty good. Won some good tackles and out muscled United midfielders to win it back a few times.
