He's arguing about football and posting stuff to support his argument. It's no longer match day, so what's your problem with it?
Defensive argument aside, you know Huddlestone didn't play behind a front two which means that formation is wrong.
He seemed alright. Evandro that is. Very organised and defended well obviously under instructions to cut passing angles out. Cant say he did owt offensively. Niasse looked good in his brief cameo. Got a turn of pace, should have shot instead of passing to Dio. Will we see him and Abel together?
For anyone just joining this thread after about Page 20, we won a football match yesterday... You might think if you joined at that point that people were arguing/ complaining about positioning leading to a 6-0 drubbing... but you'd actually be wrong...
He made some useful tackles. Not what I was expecting from him. I thought he was more skill and end product than getting stuck in. Looks ok from his cameo appearance.
I concur, difficult one with Hernandez/Mbokani/Naisse, Abel and Mbokani I think would work well together, there again might MS go with a front 3 with Naisse on the left, Mobokani up the middle with Abel on the right?
Not easy to say much. Got to consider that neither have played much football. Evandro gave it a good go, just like Snodgrass he's not much of a defender but he brought energy and put himself about a bit. Niasse looked big, strong and quick. Anyone know how tight that offside call? (The one that put him clean through). He certainly didn't look as useless as Everton fans say.
Evandro came on when we were in a defensive holding situation for the last 10 minutes, so you couldn't see what his offensive qualities are. I guess we will see what he really like when he comes on with more game time.
[ Passing to Dio was the right thing to do if it wasn't Dio. It might take a couple of weeks for him to learn that. Give him a chance.
I don't think we'll see much more of Mbokani. I certainly wouldn't be pushing our best goalscorer out wide to accommodate a player who's scored less goals than Diomande. We've just signed a striker, got another back fit. If we're going to play with just one up front and one in behind how many do we need?
He genuinely could be our best signing of the summer.... or before if someone with two brain cells to rub together could see that. SO..... after summer it is then...
You might see MS use Mbokani more in away games, whereby you need someone who can hold the ball up well, to take pressure off the defence.
I don't know whether that's the best argument this board has seen or the worst. In other news, doesn't Marco just look ****ing cool?
