Dio stayed on because he did actually do a lot of tracking back to defend and Silva isn't sure if his new additions will do this. He's not the most gifted, but boy did he put a shift in.
Maybe the thing with Dio, is that he's never played under a coach that believed in him or could improve him... especially moving from Norwegian football and being thrown into English if not Premiership football. I think he's a work in progress..
I don't think Dio will ever be good enough to play at this level but he's just the kind of donkey player who I can see stumbling his way into double figures in the division below.
Tell you something for nothing. Don't discount B'mouth from a relegation scrap....Tidy side, pretty in possession, but other than that, not much bite..I'd like to have a look at their run-in.. PS..We looked a bit tighter today without Elmo..
Yeah I remember that, if scoring goals like that doesn't make you PL quality, I don't know what will.
What about that goal with a slick turn and shot he scored recently? There's a player in there somewhere.
You're right. I posted this before half-time when I thought he was looking a bit duff. Second half was a transformation though, him and Harry made a terrific right back!
I had to work today, got finished early and rushed home to stream the last 15 minutes, and I have to say that I was impressed with what I saw from Niasse. Could it really be that Everton's manager is a bit **** compared to ours? I think it could! Marvellous result today, once Marco and his team arrived I had no doubt that we'd be staying up. I don't wanna say I told you so but...
Good game, good performance, good win...Cut out the silly mistakes like giving needless pens away and we might do it...
He can only score when he's on the pitch. He got 23 last season and has 4 this season from 14 appearances.
He worked his nuts off but was awful. Looks like his confidence is shot, so at least he isn't hiding. He had one air kick in front of goal from a cross and then he went to ground when he could have got there first, I suspect it was because he didn't fancy a 1-1 with goalie. And I'm probably the only one on here who watched it stone cold sober, so just trust me.
