Early to say but Niasse looks like he has pace, which will come in handy, and Evandro looked experienced.
How much did Bournemouth pay for Mings? Howe is obviously a talented coach and he's worked miracles there however his record of signings is distinctly average. Afobe, Ibe, Mings and Cook. There is nearly 40 millions worth of players there.
Evandro looked abit lost to me. Niasse looked bright, quick tricky and a bit of a battler all be it against a flagging slow defence.
He'd get his money back on most of his signings, Callum Wilson cost £3m and is worth at least £15m, his signing record is very good.
I don't think he looked lost, every time he got the ball the ref blew for something and he had to stop.
I thought he looked the exact opposite. He seemed to take up the right position and harried the ball well. He seemed to know exactly what MS wanted form him, which is to be expected.
Maybe been a bit harsh I guess. He looked good positionally but nothing more. We will see with a bit more game time. Was Livermore not 100%?
They both looked good and did the job Evandro looked quick and stylish, Niasse also looked OK and looks like they could be a decent partnership there good additions to the squad, but far to early to tell. One thing though when we subbed Hernandez and Snodders we still didn't look like conceding which is not usual for us this season. Like I say very early. Some might have a very different opinion though.
It's a simple thing, but it sure is nice to be able to look forward to watching Match of the Day this evening!
