Harry was a good part of a good team performance. Apart from the start. We have a few gems in the team that are making a difference. Hudds having one of if not his best spell for us since he came.

Jak must stay where he is too. couple of good saves.

Mason was very impressive, had some nice runs. Still doesn't strike me, even at his best, as someone we should have spent 13m on.

Thought both Hernandez goals were brilliant. Both goal of the month contenders.

I've got to give a lot of credit to Diomande for these three points. He's not the best footballer, but he gives us everything he has.

He still shouldn't really be on a football pitch.

He turned his blood to water for a relegation threatened Hull City. MOTM for me.

On today's performance I wonder if he might make a better right back than striker?

Possibly down to earth with a bump in the next few weeks - Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal & L'pool next. The Burnley fixture looks the next realistic points scorer. Let's enjoy todays efforts though, they played their nads off.

    Hernandez
    Jak
    Maguire

Great moment at end Maguire and then Jak coming over to north stand and both giving the COME ON fist shake to the fans

    Brilliant Day

I thought Jak should have done a lot better with the penalty. It wasn't a good penalty, decent connection but it was nowhere near the corner. Can't help but think Marshall would have saved it.

Yes it is but suggesting he's doing things posted on here that Phelan refused to do is stretching a point a bit.

Silva seems happy to play people out of position and get the best from them. Even if some underperform as Maguire and Diomande were at the start of the game (first twenty), he's happy to give them time to improve within the game.

His subs were like for like too. In the past, we'd have seen more midfielders and defenders introduced for attacking players but here we were swapping our front men for more front men. Silva is confident of the lads and that in turn builds their confidence.

Love Jak's vocality. A real difference at the back.

Mason's improvement in the last two games is great to see. Confidence growing and we're starting to see the player we bought.

Slight gripe is Clucas seems to prevent Robertson running forwards when he stands in front of him, marked. Half time Clucas was told to tuck inside more and allow Robertson to run past.

    Bring on Chelsea.
