To those criticising Puel, criticising the style of play ... take a look at this. Can hardly be blamed if the players aren't doing the business on the pitch.
I generally couldn't give less of a damn about the cups, but a semi-final is a semi-final. Surely we can find a way to get strong squads out there for both matches, though, right?

Yes, I agree. We are in danger of slipping further and a win from climbing up. It's classic mid-table. We've just been spoiled for a few seasons. I'm still hoping we are spoiled further still, with a cracking day out in London.

Clearly he won't use those words but he's spoken earlier about his desire to play a more possession-based game. That probably includes the slower pace. If he doesn't want us playing this way and we've kept doing it for half a season then he probably needs to be sacked because either he doesn't know how to change the way we play or the players are ignoring him.

Our attacking tactics today were seemingly... Let long run down the channel and give it away. Cross the ball aimlessly with no one in the box. Rely on JWP as the midfield threat. It's just so frustrating to watch. There's no cohesion at all
We have nothing to play for in the league why would you rotate when you're in touching distance of a final??
Okay... A team who have the sole aim of staying up They're not safe yet. Their away form is worse than ours!!
But in that case, you may as well play a second string at Anfield. Hardly seems worth it to go there and "rotate". Either give yourself a chance to progress, or don't bother and keep players fresh for Swansea. Do one or the other, not some half hearted attempt there.
