How times change, and was reading Phil Hayes player ratings and got upset that 1 of the lads only got a 7. This time last year we were struggling to get one 7 and he would have been our MOM. Even Duke was twice the player he was on Monday, but yes not brilliant unlike every other player. Mind you as we now know we have a guy who is tactically astute and did he get Duke to do a particular job? last few seasons I have wished we had players like Derby have like the little albino kid and Bent etc, yet our kids blitzed them totally eclipsed young Will Hughes who struggled to get on the ball. Maclaren was big enough to say Wow that kid Viera's 18 and has a big future, they played us off the park and totally deserve to win, lucky to keep it to 1 goal. my thoughts on duke stem from wanting someone faster i suppose want a flyer out wide .still got the same opinion though if we buy or loan they must be team players.
Dallas & Doukara perform different roles. Dukara is a forward played out wide & supports our CF. He's a nightmare to knock off the bal & takes some heat off Wood. Dallas is a wide player wo can cross a ball, but who is also very good at getting back to defend. Both are part of an ever improving squad.
Against forest we wont need to defend too much. Unless they get their new owner in and he buys a whole new team and coach by 25th. Theyare a piss poor team and are only getting worse. 3-0 at least!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of his. Whenever I've seen him, he ranges from good / average to poor and understand what you mean about him losing possession. But tbf I thought he contributed to an excellent first half of performance where we pissed all over one of the divisions fancied teams, which deserved more than the one goal we got. And it's getting more often we can say that!!

You hit the nail on the head any signing must fit in with our team play. We don't want a big money signing who expects the team to fit in round him. Last night was the best TEAM performance by a Leeds team for years and is improving weekly. Well done Gary Monk and the training staff.

I didn't want to put a downer on what has been a fantastic run but nearly my exact thoughts yesterday, Rad so reminds me of the lot from GFH I just hope there isn't a power struggle between him and Cellino. I thought it was most unusual to have two owner at 50% each, I do sense trouble ahead. If Monk wants to strengthen the squad we should have given him full backing, it just all has a sense of stalling off the field at the top level.
Rads crowd represent a bunch of investors. They pride themselves on maximising investments blah blah. It's all on their website and reads eerily like the gfh one a few years back. The only difference I can see yet is Rad has extensive sporting and football experience, making money from it. He's admitted knowing nothing about running a football club, again another comment very close to what gfh once said. Also stated today at presser he has put nothing into a transfer kitty which we could have guessed. So far, Cellino wins as he's getting a lump of cash for his half share in stage payments.
