I've heard Ali come out with some hilarious stuff over the years. My Favourite: when his sisters came to Ninian park he played 'Who let the dogs out' at half time.
Does anyone else have some funny things he's done or said over the years?

Sorry if I spelt his name wrong.

Played the old soul classic 'Do you know what your doing Mrs Jones' during mid season of our last year at Ninian. Used to have seats right next to his little box and there was a reason/story behind most of the music he played, what a great guy. He used to explain the choices of records and why, Very Deep at times tho

He often had requests to play "Gypsies tramps and thieves" when certain visitors came to our fair city, but he was warned off playing it by the club. He played the cover track from an album called "Better By Far" on one visit, people thought it was a reference to our team, but as you say Ali could be deep

who released the album, the old Pye Hastings band

It was funny when he asked us to stop sending taxis and pizza's to Leyton james' house, and that Lee Trundle would have any pizza's going. That cracked me up.

Haha, I think during that game though he also announced that someone had left their Horse and Cart on double yellow lines.

I might be wrong but did he not contest a seat as an Assembly Member at the last election? I'm sure I saw him in a debate on tele.

I think it was as a Lib Dem but if it was the Cardiff City Supporters Party he would have got my vote.

He was a Vice-Chair of the vote Yes campaign for more powers for the Welsh Assembly, I think the 5 Vice-Chairs were picked because they were not members of any political party.
