If you guys/gals had the choice of the game being called off tomorrow, would you take it? I think I would. Wouldn't mind longer to prepare for this one, although never ideal trying to shoehorn in another fixture.
This game is a good chance for us to get consecutive wins....would do wonders for morale, especially if we follow it up with a win against Norwich. May get a longer break if it is postponed, but then may find it rescheduled at another inconvenient time. Let's be positive and let one victory go to our heads.
Here we are, all six of us 8 miles from Burnley, half way to Nirvana.. and you want it called off! We were here a few years ago when the Rochdale game was called off... As long as Tadic does not take penalties, we will be good.... Love is the drug .
I have no control over postponements you will be pleased to here! Just saying I shall not cry if we get the same preparation time as Burnley for this fixture. (Burnley forum saying snow is due over night)
If your support started just before a trophy... do you fancy stopping supporting us for 10 days or so? Start supporting us again, say the 24th? For what it's worth I'll even accept a 7-0 loss in one of our remaining league games* if it works *As long as it's not Spurs
What would happen if he had to officiate this, would someone be drafted in for the other game, presumably so?
Guardian has a very different predicted starting line-up for us: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/jan/13/burnley-southampton-match-preview
Housesitting for my parents while they're on another continent, and currently attempting to find some means of wringing enough juice from the wireless (wired isn't an option unless I want to stand on a chair for the duration) to get a dodgy stream out of their hopelessly slow internet. I fear I have a lot of still frames with garbled background commentary in my future for the next couple weeks.
