9 in 60 appearances. He scored some big goals in big games, but there were many more games when he was comically useless. When the **** are you going to learn how to work the interweb?

Bloody hell I agree with Sb!!!!!
Agree, I have never doubted his commitment or enthusiasm just his limitations. We were told by TF that he wanted Playoffs so I thought that Mackie would not suit a free flowing football team but then all that changed and we got Hollow. He is ideal for where we are at present. Last night he proved me wrong. He was actually very good. Let's just hope he continues in this vein of form.

    41 starts, 19 sub, 9 goals.

Considering how completely and utterly broken we became over those two seasons, especially post-Warnock, I'd say that was excellent for a midfielder coming back initially off a double leg break. His best performance for me was Blackburn away. 3-0 down at the break he came on scored twice and turned the game if not the result on it's head.

Most of the overpaid under performing tossers we had at that time were genuinely comically useless. Not Mackie.

Jamie Mackie can be summed up in a four minute spell during last nights match.

On 27 minutes he stealthed in behind the Reading defence to slam the ball into the net at the back post.

On 31 minutes he had a shot that nearly knocked the International Space Station out of the sky.

I also think he may have scored in the 2nd half when Woz crossed the ball and Cilla fluffed when Jamie was running on to it.

Here's a quick question, would you rather a team of Jamie Mackie's or a team of Tjaronn Chery's?

Chery's because I think you could go further. A team of Mackies would be limited. Although I would rather have a team of Toures

No humble pie for me: I love him!
Footnote: Not Rodney, Stanley, Tony, Roy ... but football is a team game that needs your workers.
First on the team sheet for the next game?

The Mackies would beat the Cherries, but they wouldn't beat the Marshes.

Yeah but would he beat the Francis's? Probably our best ever all rounder.

Hmm, close call. Marsh was tough.

What about the Mark Dennises v the Gavin Maguires? That's box office.

Yeah it's a badly worded OP. I'm not interested in digging anyone out over Mackie. Some seem to hate him with a passion and I just don't get it. I really don't. I hate the pay cheque collectors. I hate the pension fund accumulators. I hate the overrated drama llamas walking out at half-time and sat on Fulham Palace Road waiting for a bus ****ting all over the fans who pay the wages and stick it out until the end however bad it gets. I hate all the poisonous garbage we accumulated over the last 5 1/2 years. They deserve my hatred.

Was that a pause for thought, to explain what are the qualities that make you hate him so much? You must have thought of something by now. I'm not sure he was 'shown up' in the Prem as you put it. When your team mates have given up and your gaffer has set his match ambitions at not getting murdered there really isn't much left for a forward to do other than go chasing the ball because none of your team mates will
