Thankfully not. I wouldn't ever like to be in the position to have to put someone out a job. Having said that, I write software for a living and so have indirectly been replacing people's jobs for nearly 3 decades now
I pulled the trigger on about a dozen people during 10 years as a manager with my last firm. They all pretty much fired themselves though, you have to be some sort of monumental **** to get yourself sacked by Royal Mail. Only ever regretted one of them. But if he'd turned up to work now and again and not taken the piss for about 25 years he'd still be in a job today, so **** him. Oh yeah, and I found out two things about one guy I sacked, about a week after he went; number one, he'd just taken on a mortgage with his bird, and number two his brother was a well known face among the local badmans dem. Felt bad about the mortgage. And spent a few months ducking into doorways.
No but there's a newish guy at work at a level between me and the boss who pisses me right off. I told the boss that I don't like working with him and I'll give it till the end of March and consider whether to move on or not. She said she'd rather get rid of him than me, not exact words but meaning was there. Watch this space.
How can Sugar fire them? They are only candidates for the job, he doesn't employ them and I'd tell the **** that if he told me I was "fired". Daft kike ****(no offence, Trev)
Not trying to get him sacked. I'm a contractor and I merely said as I don't get on with his management style, I'll see how I feel by the time my extension ends in March and may move on.
