Match Day Thread Man Utd v Liverpool Premier league

Saw it earlier and find it quite amusing. We've been applauded for our goalscoring exploits whilst Man Utd have a solid defensive record. However, they've picked our defence and their attack

 

i've put mane and coutinho in. i know you love firmino but the lad isn't a natural.

i picked out our formation and put mkhitaryan in as i think klopp would love to have him.

oh and i never mentioned the manager pick is easy. pogba and mourinho are in the same boat. as i said pogba wouldn't be within a mile the same is true for mourinho. i'd not have him even if hodgson was the alternative

 

This is such a huge game for both clubs.

Lose and we're on a bad run and wobbling around top 4 and miles off the top with United in the ascendency.

Win and we're still hanging on in at the top.

Draw isn't too bad. I'd take a draw.

Not confident though. Can see us losing 2-0 or so.

Missing a few important players.

 

It's not about team chemistry when picking these select XI's so it's got to be Zlatan before Firmino.

We've got hope. Although we have had a few indifferent results and performances they could be nervous about our pressing and attacking game. We just have to avoid conceding in the first half an hour. And giving them confidence.

 

Yeah. Mane and Hendo being out is big for us.

Lallana and Fiminho really have to perform if we're to get something out of the game.

Agreed if we concede first then they will sit back and control and counter which is what Jose loves doing against us as we all know.

 

Hendo out? I thought he had recovered enough to play. Or at least be on the bench?

**** it lads...**** the Jinx...it's stating the obvious but if we are on our game and United play open attacking football I think we win...might be a 3-2 might be a 4-0 depending on who scores first.

Both teams have a mentality collapse in them..both teams look good if they start bright..as always I hope we both play great but we win 3-2 lol...

Anything other than that tepid performance during the week or a collapse after conceding one and I'll find it grand...even if we lose 3-2...

Hey..we'd all take a rubbish 1-0 win or even a 0-0 tbh...

I'm just greedy...love a classic...and not popular maybe but I'd take a belting 3-2 loss with both teams at their best and suffer the wums knowing it was a touch of class that beat us than...a crappy ref decision or our usual stupid defensive mistake gifting the win...

But hey, we'll see soon enough...

 

the right one can't be klopp, klopp doesn't have a plan B. Only has a plan A of running around hard and chasing people
