With the game postponed last night and given Waggy`s performance and wonder goal on saturday also taking into account CP stateing after the Bournemouth win that if you perform you stay in the team I cant see Danny Green starting on saturday.
What do you reckon place on the bench.
This competion for places is great I reckon it`ll bring out the best in our team.

I think Green should start- thought Waggy was pretty poor other than his goal. Never beat their left back once, and can't recall a cross in to the box.

Chris has to bring Green in, Danny will be one of the main men this season.

I expect Green to start- he's been brought in to get crosses into the box, and Waggy can't do that. There's also his dead-ball skills; basically a better player.

For me he simply has to start on Saturday. Barring Waggy's quality strike, his overall play was what we've come to expect of him.

Danny Green is right up there with the very best players in this league. He'll supply more ammunition for BWP and Hayes in one game than Waggy will throughout the whole season. He also Imo carries the greater threat in terms of scoring goals.

I totally disagree,Waggy was a constant threat and that goal was stunning he deserves to stay in....what message does it send out to the squad players if he comes in i`d say start him from the bench.
If BWP gets injured and Benson comes in scores 5 in 5 would you drop him as soon as BWP was fit.
Should Robbie be dropped after saturdays 5 star performance .
I say start with the same 11

But Waggy didn't put in a 5* performance. Their left back constantly won the ball from him, or marshaled him out of play. Great goal, don't get me wrong, but Solly was more of a threat down the right than him. Even remember Dyer giving him a massive ear bashing in the first half, and Waggy seemed to act a bit petulant in return.

remember the ear bashing cos he didnt track back he got a right earful and responded...wouldnt say petulance just instant reaction, him and solly play well together.
Second half he was a constant threat..i`m not saying he`s better than Danny just saying that i`d keep him in this week.
I`m an advocate of not changeing a winning team,I thought he had a decent game BUT I`m the bloke who said Stephens was crap at woking so what do I know.

Thankfully the decision is not ours but CPs. For my money I would play Green at Notts County since on last night's form they appear to be a tough nut to crack and a player with good crossing and dead ball abilities will be needed. Waggy on the bench for sure we may need him to come on and make an impact, but we look to have an awfully strong bench at the moment. All of them will be pushing to make an impact to get a start which is just the way you want it.

If you were playing left-back which of the two would you rather face?

Starting with Green and having Waggy as an impact sub is a better system than the other way round. Green should start.

    Hello everyone, first post!

I was at the Den Boosch friendly and Green was bar far the best player on the pitch. Love Waggy but its got to be Green starting imo.

    Stop being logical mate haha.....

I dont know, i am all for cp's approach of keeping em in if they perform, but i cannot see how we can leave green out if he is ready. Somehow, waggys game and greens have to both be of benefit to us in the end, i am sure cp will get it right.

It will be harsh on Waggy to drop him and as much as I thought Waggy worked his socks off and scored a smashing goal with a great strike, Green has more game than Waggy does and is a match winner.
I think bring Waggy on with 15/20 minutes to go and play him on the shoulder of the last defender. You tell me if that centre half would relish him coming on and killing him for pace and we all know Waggy can finish!
Decent selection dilemas for CP though which is great news for us as everyone should be keen to play and to show what they can do.
