    At least it's more interesting than nothing. It implies someone is sitting there waiting eagerly with their phone, checking the battery and waiting for Saints to call. :)

    Regarding the great Chinese experiment, I'm curious how this turns out. They've been doing a similar thing in basketball for years: importing overseas (largely American) players with a low cap on the number each team can field, with the hope that it might improve the level of competition. So far, the results have mostly involved third-tier American players putting up comical points totals and making the Chinese players look vastly inferior by comparison.

    But that experiment has been a cheap one; the imported basketball players are all NBA washouts, and aren't making a fortune while there. I haven't seen any matches from the Chinese league, but I'm presuming that the contrast between the (four, I believe?) foreign-born stars each team and the remainder of the team is a bit stark, but magnified even more given that a single player may be making more than the native-born players on the team make in a year...combined.

    He was never 7/1. Think he meant 1/7. If he was 7/1 I'd have been down the bank withdrawing my life savings and booking a trip away in early Feb!
