    Local TV? Is that 'Local Transvestites'? I'm sure Newcastle has them in abundance.

    I'll stick to my own gentelman's clothing thankyou.

    Actally Sunderland Council are to cities what NUFC management is to football clubs... sure we hate them but the end of the day the people are far better than the organisation that runs them.

    5under1and will have No space in Albanian Chanel as the government of Albania are taking seriously the steeps to stop all the mackems games...I am spreading the geordie spirit in Albania....as you know...I am not letting in any mackems here...

    I like how Keighley, Grimsby and Burnley, which are some of the UK's worst cities can have their own TV channel. Yet, Sunderland doesnt haha.

    Hilarious, its tickled me this one. Its going to do nothing to quell the bitterness is it? (as MrRAW has kindly agreed to display) You've got to feel sorry for Sunderland City Council. They go to all the trouble of getting city status, yet they are still just a subsidary of Newcastle to anyone living outside their "city" limits. (bit of Tina with nutbush there for anyone who's a fan)

    I know there was a big party on Lindisfarne to celebrate the announcement of their own TV channel, they did invite people from Sunderland but apparently the puffins and nesting terns complained about the possibility of Mackem droppings being left on the island.
