Payet getting stick is a bit of a pisstake. He had a strong Euro and there was tons of speculation of him leaving and he stuck by West ham, immediately dismissed any move. New stadium, owners telling him big things are coming, europa league progress , new signings etc... Since then, West Ham have been dreadful. I'd do the exact same thing as Payet. Especially considering he isn't 21 years old. He is at his peak and may have missed the boat by sticking by west ham. I'd be annoyed. Selfish decision? yes , a ****? no.

Another reason why West Ham have been crap is the removal of the pressure cooker atmosphere of Upton Park. Hope they continue being ****, Two looking likely for tomorrow with strong pissibility of the Dutch left back. Maybe get Jagielka in on loan and then we've covered some necessary areas. Then we'll see what Marco Silva can do with a reasonable squad.
