We've sponsored our first Gas Goal! Let's hope there's many more to come! And how fitting that 'our Ellis' who we have sponsored twice and was one of the first young players we sponsored in 2013 was the one to score our first goal........ please log in to view this image Thank you to all our FFS Club members, without you these things just wouldn't be possible. Please keep the pledges coming - we need to pay for it! please log in to view this image
Due to the rising cost of hospitality for our members its unlikely we will sponsor a league game this season due to lack of attendees. The Roll of Honour is now updated.! please log in to view this image
Jon I see the club are looking for people to sponsor a players kit, can we are we interested or is every thing sorted in a another direction
I guess as we are sponsoring every goal we score, at the moment, we are scoring a lot so I guess every penny is going towards that!
I think my last comment old timer will apply to the 1883 club shirt sponsor draw. Its £1250 plus VAT to enter. At the moment, the funds recieved from those who have signed up to the FFSC will surely be covering all the goals we score. We have scored 45 goals so far this season which at £25 a goal = £1125 paid to the club for 45 goals. That is 112 peoples worth of membership fees. Do the FFSC have 112 members signed up this season? If not then how are the FFSC paying for the goals we are going to score as there is 20 games still left to play? Is there money left over from last season? Are the FFSC getting funds from elsewhere? Therefore, I cant see for the life of me how the FFSC will put in £1250 plus VAT to enter the draw to sponsor next seasons shirt, if you catch my drift

Firstly, we'd like to thank everyone who has taken part/joined in this seasons Fan's Forum Sponsor Club, the support we have received this season from you all again has been incredible and it's YOU that make it a success in Sponsoring and raising income for the football club. We have Sponsored 8 Rovers players in 2016/17 including Captain Tom Lockyer who we have now sponsored for five seasons since he broke into the side as a youngster. We managed to Sponsor the League Cup Cardiff City clash. Of course we would have loved to have sponsored another match but the truth is the club are selling out of hospitality places quickly now, which is great news for the club even if it means we have less chance to meet up/share some great times. This season we pulled of a first for the football club Sponsoring EVERY GOAL ROVERS SCORED and we look forward to settling our bill. This was done not only to support the club and sponsor something new, but also in the hope that maybe a business Sponsors our Goals in the future and more money is raised for the club. And who knows next season we may just sponsor clean sheets! Our 'GasBill' pledge-style fundraiser has once again raised lots of cash and the generosity of Rovers Supporters who give so much through this continues to amaze us. Huge thanks must go to Parrot who has gathered all the funds and overseen the banking in his usual efficient/trustworthy way. Top man - Thanks Parrot. *************************************************************************** please log in to view this image Now the matter of our end of season Prize Draw which all our members are entered into. All 8 shirts will be won as well as winners being able to gain exclusive access to meet the players/staff before the general public are allowed in at this summers Open Day where you can take photo's, collect signatures, chat with players and DC as well as enjoy a few drinks and a free buffet*. Anyone who has done this before will tell you its a really good time. *Subject to the football club continuing their usual Open Day activities. Our good friend Hugo shall be randomly generating the winners later this week, so good luck to you all - Hope you win!!! The FFS Sponsored players are as follows: Tom Lockyer (Away Shirt) Bob Harris (Home shirt) Jamie Lucas (Home shirt) Ryan Sweeney (Home shirt) James Clarke (Away shirt) Jo Lumley (Away shirt) Joe Partington (Away shirt) Jonny Burn (Away shirt) And lastly, as we start to receive this seasons 'GasBill's' it is only a matter of days before we break the £20,000 raised barrier. So i make no apology for saying a BIG THANK YOU once again to everyone over the last 4 years both old and new who have joined us or generally supported us along the way. please log in to view this image THE FFS CLUB ROLL OF HONOUR 2016/17 Paul Simpson Jeff NZ South Wales Gas L P GAS Scots Gas Pirate 49 Jon the Stripe Purdown Poacher Chewbacca Aghast Blackthorn Gas Pudsey Gas Tillys Thighs AllGasandGaiters Gashead Blues Underleaf Gas Dr Gas Zulu Gas Thomas Gregs Gas Gregs Girl Weezord Lost In Space Kent Gas Tommy M9 Old Timer Travelling Wilbury Patchway Pirate Years Ago Number 6 In Memory of Pamela England In Memory of Bert Nelson Gashead 79 Gashead 79 LH Gashead 79 TH Gashead 79 SH Captain Jack Sparrow Kevin Spencer Seymour Gas Eastville Ern Norton Gashead Bishopston BRFC Kingswood polak Tonz Parrot Timsbury Gas Mrs Timsbury Gas Mehew Magic Catmando In Memory of Ann-Marie Irene The Rovers Ram Wembley Gas Russ Gas Bideford Gas Staffordshire Gas Steve Gregory Tooting Gas DK and FJL Sean Clevedon Gas Sian Clevedon Gas Freddie Clevedon Gas Eglantino Rovers Mrs Eglantino Rovers William Bloor Lorenzo Jerry Hicks Rex Cheshire Gas Katy Gas Hugo the Elder Hugo the Younger BS10er Rod 1883 M Lowther Gashead Stu Quillogic Chris Edmonds Malcolm Haines Aggigas Gastropod Mrs Gastropod Miami Gas Andrew Burns Wayne Honey Kevin Obern Strung Out Gackyi Mrs Gackyi Gackyi Junior Dido Badger Matt UK Samuel Wide Matt Scarratt James Scarratt Cantankerous Gas Mrs Cantankerous Gas Terry Chard Blue Mist Eastville Ern's Super 6 League Fabregas 1 Fabregas 2 Bryn Pirate 1 Bryn Pirate 2 Sainebolt Sainebolt 2 OneFinDunford MikeS Pirateman Glostergas Dannydriftwood Alasitsgas Dawlish Gas Taffy Gas Slam Metcalfe TR R Withey S Tinson J Weaver Bridgeman 2ndMay1990 Gas66 Grayraydon Gas Prints Chris Strange Steve Surry Lulworthgas Captain Jayho Bornagain04 Bob Bruton Philbemmygas Brain Seymour Smith Nobbygas Rushgas Mrs Hugo The Elder BristolBlueGlass Trish Rolfe OldGas OldGas Jnr J Hulbert SCDave Nickster IslaPlanaGas Gashead Gaz Gastricband Please let us know if you believe your name should be on the list.
