I'm sure he will do that, given time. In the meantime, a goal, a decent save and a clearance off the line isn't a bad return from 3 shots on target.
Sorry, can't agree. That chip was right in front of me, it was a sublime piece of skill, beat the keeper all ends up, and if some bloke called Lovren hadn't been on the line to clear it, we'd all have been raving about it for months.
.. and after running 70 yards and then blowing it, Cedric would have been a bit miffed too, but it was a good breakaway move.
Fair enough, if it had gone in. But Lovren only had time to get back because it was a delicate chip, if Nathan had struck it firmly along the ground the goal was wide open.
not606 blind date strikes again .... Come to the pub Saints Don.... I actually know what you look like as I am sure I was stood very close to you outside the ground, when you realised you had the wrong Europa league tickets. I wanted to give you a hug
Did he though? I think he hit it when running and given another second or two would have crossed it to JRod.
I'm going to suggest that the pass to JRod was pretty well cut off as they were a bit close to the goal and the space between the goalkeeper and defender wasn't very big. Might have made it but very tight. Even so, Cedric should have hit the target from that range without doubt. Thats kind of typical Cedric though, he can be brilliant at times and totally fearless, and then, oops!
