    It'll be right up there with the best CDM partnership in the league. Similar to when we had Schneiderlin and Wanyama. They still need to sort out their elderly defence, and get a good GK in mind you.

    I can still see them signing Hart in the summer, if he wants to come back to the PL. City aren't going to sell him to direct rival, therefore basically only leaving Everton and West Ham (and us?). They might even use Barkley as a bargaining chip.

    Their defence will take more than this window and the summer to fix, though.

    It's a shame that we're not bringing him home, but I'm happy for Morgan. And I can accept him joining someone like Everton.

    Oh that's depressing. If we didn't have so many average midfielders on the books surely we could have tempted him back? And take off the sell on fee, split the difference? Ffs why Everton. Grrr.
