...Swansea play some nice football but their achilles heel has been defensive organisation, in particular protecting the back four. Makelele was one of the best this country has ever seen in a defensive midfield role and I can see his influence addressing that particular problem. I'm sure you think that Steven Gerrard's experinece and specific attributes would be a positive addition to any coaching team? and that you would not be asking 'why' if someone opined accordingly should he join a club in such a capacity later.
No doubt - but then you do have rather blinkered footballing knowledge and a bit of an unrequited love thing going on with a paricular Chelsea fan that has become something of an obsession with you
