I stand corrected as I misread Wiki. Foot in mouth time for me, but nonetheless I am not in the least embarrassed as it was a genuine mistake. Feel free to make of it what you will.
I'm not bothered to be honest mate, nobody is perfect, I'm certainly not. There was a time obviously when Sunderland were more successful, I'll never contest that. I just don't rate Pele, as highly as he rates himself. It's just an opinion
The financial clout of RM (via the Madrid Council) huge debt manipulation, and Barca through their membership charges will ensure they will always be at the top. Sky's worldwide broadcasting wealth will ensure that the Prem does not quite get so bad as the Spanish or even Italian leagues have become.
Madrid and Barcelona have won 56 titles between them. In England almost as many (51) are shared between 3 teams. Those two teams have dominated in Spain but other teams have and will broken their strangle hold from time to time. I still don't think their dominance indicates a weak league because, like I said, plenty of Spanish teams have shown that can compete well in continental competition
Bit touchy there mate aren't we? At £4m you are under selling him though. I can see Sam snapping him up which wouldn't bode well.
Yeah I don't want us to sell our best player at a price we can't replace him for which will subsequently see us relegated. No ****.
