I reckon so unless Klopp doesn't like idea of playing Origi and sturridge together.

Still pretty strong then... hoping to see Lucas tbh as without Hendo think we might win the midfield..

Lallana I think will go one way or the other. He'll either wilt or be one of the best players on the pitch.

My main concern is ****ing Sturrige ( <grr> ) if I was Puel I'd be taking Romeu to one side and whispering in his ear "Now listen here Oriol, you have a very important job to do within the first ten minutes..." :bandit:

You're defence and keeper can be got at for sure though.

Nerves and excitement kicking in big time now <yikes>... probably hard for you to understand how big this is to us if that makes sense (not cos its you) <laugh>

It's just as big for us mate, the day it's not we've become Arsenal and I'll start watching Bowls instead of footy.

Yeah I understand that... and I've always respected your views personally regarding cup over league position etc.

I guess what I mean, is you lot are hardly starved when it comes to major trophies are you? We've got ONE, in our entire history... 41 years ago!

In fact this is only the 2nd semi final we've reached in my lifetime... I'm 25 <yikes>

****ing hell... I'd probably take relegation to win this cup... though I'm not sure other Saints fans would <laugh>

Maybe I phrased it wrong. What I'm trying to say, is that winning the League Cup would mean SO much more to us, as a fanbase, than to you.

Not a dig by any means, just a fact given the respective size/history of each of our clubs <ok>

but what will it mean to your manager and owners?

just a question but we long suffering (and yes spoiled reds) have been saying for years winning things in important while our younger fans seem to only want 4th.

I like your attitude. I am 100% SURE theres not issue with you going all out from here to win the thing and that being an excuse for relegation issues. but I would say i can understand your views about the cup and it would be a mini Leicester feeling for you BUT BUT we are not cheslea or citeh who to be frank are the spoiled ones

I've endured 26 years without a title, the last 8 years have not been as traumatic as your plight in league one must have been but we saw our club systematically torn apaprt and blundering oafs in fsg making many stupid errors..... we've seen a great new manager, a big new stand this season and well... a cup would be dream land and I for one would celebrate it just as much as any Leicester fan.

    Good post mate <ok>

Well this is the problem with modern football isn't it? (I say modern though I'm a young'un <laugh> )

But fans seem to look at like a business now - which it is, but fans shouldn't see it like that imo - where the CL and high league finishes bring the money in etc.

I have this argument on our board quite reguarly... I'd take any of the 2 domestic cups over any league position bar 1st.

I'm glad you mentioned League 1, as despite the last 2 seasons delivering record PL finishes/points totals, the back-to-back promotions are undoubtedly the favourite seasons of my Saints supporting life.

When my 2 year old grows up, I'd love to tell the story of us winning a pot at Wembley rather than the year we finish 6th <ok>

Yes it is in many ways. some go into full meltdown like arsneal fans at a loss and some just don't seem to tune in unless that 4th isn't acheived at minimum.

The league has been our bread and butter form the 50s to the 2000s and that means winning not taking part and finihsing high enough. we have seen a steady growth in accepting mediocity and i felt we got crushed. thats why IMO klopp turning round and "educating" our fans is both brilliant and should be eye opening. he's about the only man on the plaent who'd dare turn to the kop and tell them to ****ing sing now and stop getting cheesed off.

I similarly dream of telling my 4 year old that red teams win things and point to us holding a cu while utd fans cry this year ;)

the little **** winds me up. its worse than astro. he will shout for any blue team over ym team then laugh at me and he's only FOUR! what a troll.... still... i did teach him.

    Interesting team.

We have as feared pushed lallana forward to replace mane but hopefully we will put coutinho in for 2omins and take can or lucas off.

Origi has deserved looking suddenly at sturridge starting. Terrible display sunday.

Should be an interesting game i suppise but karius is a worry. Mingolet has done nothing wrong at all so i hope this is not klopp reestablishing his favored guy.

Interesting it was Woodburn who got the nod of all the kids here. Good for him.
