Does make you wonder who's sanctioning 55K a week & a £10m transfer in the summer. Doesn't smell like an Ehab move..
I wish the 55k was, but if we're paying that, that's a huge wad to splurge all of a sudden. It stinks of the Summer when we spent 5m on a keeper - when we had three in the building - and 13m on a CM - when we were well stocked there too. 55k a week split amongst a few players could have given us a half-decent RB, another CB for depth, and a speculative striker. I'm hoping our total budget is about double what Niasse is costing us so that that could still be the case.
You can question my integrity and honesty. But never bring into dispute the tiny meaningless avatar on my profile. Although the worst avatar has to be some kind of accolade.
It's unlikely to be confirmed either way, although it does seem a bit weird if they have no intention of playing the geezer. You'd think they'd take any decent offer of a wage contribution.
