    Beef Stew and Dumplings. 9/10.

The line in the proposal which states it is being undertaken ‘to provide a once-in-a-generation opportunity to promote the site for new homes and local benefits’ has to be one of the most ludicrous things I’ve ever heard. As the Board boy states though the underlying reason is money. Its proximity to London makes it the primest of prime real estate.

A few of our sites in, and around, the capital are being flogged off as well (where the money ends up is anyone guess. Will it go to solve the nation’s current ‘humanitarian crisis’ or will be be given to the Saxe-Coburgs??? I think we all know the answer to that one on reflection).

First we have the World Cup finals going to 48 teams and now this.

If there were fewer highly paid executives it might help <doh>

    It's a slog at Lingfield.
I'm having a go with May Hay in this 2.30 race (not like me to oppose a Fergal runner)
The 3.00 looks tougher with 2 crackers at the top of the market, but Better Days might be some value (based on C&D recent)

    Good Luck

You're supposed to win the 3.00, not the 2.30!!
