Too right I am. NOT violence or serious abuse. But at least questioning about what the hell is going on, about why he thinks it's ok to treat us like 'sh_ite', etc etc. If he doesn't like being bothered whist sipping his tea, then tough; perhaps he should then talk to the media and to our supporters groups in a manner consistent with his inherited duty as custodian of our club. If he chooses to visit places like Costa in Anlaby, given his position and given his actions to date, he should surely expect to get approached by City fans (and by others affected). I would say he is incredibly 'fortunate' if he is simply left alone to sip away in peace given what he's been doing (and not been doing) and what him and his father have said. Folks are incredibly tolerant, even respectful towards someone who has earned zero respect given his despicable conduct. I honestly can't believe that some others are ok with him 'not being bothered' and let him go around our own City without hassle for answers, meanwhile the Allams continue to treat us like dirt. Only at City.
I know of one fan who confronted him and who has had to report to the local police station following it. For all I know there are other instances. Just because people don't post it on here doesn't mean it doesn't happen. The Allams continue to stay away from Hull City. Doesn't that indicate a level of hostility and refusal to accept their bollocks?
EXACTLY. I would normally agree that people should be allowed their privacy and be allowed to sip their tea in peace. However, the fact the Allams don't engage with City fans at all in the expected, usual way i.e. supporters meetings or even through the media then of course fans are going to want to take up an opportunity if they see him to question his/their actions and vent frustration. To be honest, he is so arrogant and lacking in empathy for supporters, it would probably amuse him and he would get off on his power.
Why do you say that? What have you heard? (I originally typed "what's afoot?" but realized some wag would say 12 inches)
There's no way that the Allam's would have brought in a complete new management/coaching team, and certainly not one of the quality that we now have, it screams of someone else's involvement. I don't know about Sunlan being envious of our number of posts but they'll certainly soon be envious of our management.
We don't know how good Silva is yet. It's a good start, but it was with Phelan as well. Certainly feels more promising though overall. Especially if it all suggests a takeover.
Even by your standards LB that's an enormous leap of faith, as ever, I hope your confidence is well founded ....... not so sure myself but, as the great Tickler oft used to say, TWT!
No it doesn't. At all. You'd like it to, but it doesn't. As for this stuff about the quality of our new team, it's all hope so far. Based on the fact they are foreign and therefore automatically superb. For every Poch there's a felix
You know me Spes, glass is always 7/8ths full. But genuinely, based on all that we know about them, does anyone seriously assume that the new management team was all the Allam's work?
You mean a management team that forest took a look at. And passed. It's not a big deal to poach a team from a minor league.
