Not according to that guy who has just resigned... he thought he should make all the decisions and that that Lady May should just act as his mouthpiece ..... Sir Ivan really is a prize w@nkor ..... but he will ride off into the distance with a very substantial (index linked) civil service pension.. and will get himself a job with a Pro-EU pressure group somewhere

One of the news alerts that got sent to me, a one Mr Tony Blair, is looking to block Brexit and keep the UK as a full member and is going to front up £10 million of his consultancy business cash. He really really wants to be the successor Jean-Claude Juncker, and hold a lifetime president position with no vote.

As predicted Sir Ivan has now resigned from the Uncivil Service (with a three month pay off???) and my next prediction is that he will turn up working for the EU negotiating AGAINST the UK. If this did happen, I will be writing to Lady May requesting that Sir Ivan be stripped of his K for what would be (in effect) a treasonable action.

The Blairite rump of the Labour Party has come out today in favour of restricting low skilled EU immigration. A classic case of Buyers Remorse, albeit about 15 years too late. Someone please tell Jimmy Krankie (Sturgeon) to pipe down with her independence threats - the Scots going their own way and funding themselves would be another unexpected bonus from
    Brexit.

Exactly what have any of these civil servants done to be called "Sir"?

Have you noticed the way that the "Embittered Remoaners" move from one fake hero to the next?

Wasn't it that dreary, horse- faced, saggy t!tted harridan Emma Thompson who described England as "only famous for baking cakes". That, and ignoring her films at the Box Office.

Last week it was Sir Ivan Rodgers, the week before that it was Jamie Oliver. Today they have a new heroine - that Botox-ed twit Meryl Streep <doh>

Next week the Celebrity Remoaner is expected to be a duo act - Lily Allen and Gary Lineker.

And this on the same day that Wee Jimmy Krankie-Sturgeon announced that the Scots would not hold an independence referendum this year, as they would like to enjoy at least another 12 months of English taxpayer's largesse.

I thought it was going to take us 18 months to get rid of the Bloater and her followers anyway ..... long enough for her to negotiate entry into the EU (if they want her) and for her to request that the EU makes up the £11billion that London sends her every year.

How could the EU refuse such an offer?

I don't understand why the Brexiteers are such a miserable lot. They harp on about the "remoaners", but the prospect of all those £m's going into our stricken NHS does not excite them one little bit. Or the prospect of taking back control etc etc etc. Cheer up, Brexiteers! Remember our glorious Day of Independence!

Not miserable at all - since 23 June I have been happier than Russell Slade locked in Dunkin Donuts.

I wouldn't say Brexiteers are miserable. Yes, there are some moronic Brexiteers, who only voted on the sole basis of immigration, and put every little thought into their vote. I really want to disassociate myself from the likes of these despicable people.

There are quite a few that voted based off an ideological belief that you DIRECTLY vote for your lawmakers, rather than for a bureaucrat, unelected president(s). The EU is by and large very undemocratic and incredibly tyrannous, that only looks out for big corporations. I believe that it has very NAZI roots in it's ideology, but call me a conspiracy theorist on that one.

The whole argument's over as far as I'm concerned. We're mere observers now.

You say it's the remoaners going on, but they thread is always brought back by the brexiteers (we need better names for both)?

All a bit boring now. From both sides.
