Villa and the Wendies are fighting it out to sign Jordan Rhodes but Bor's price tag of 12m is putting them both off. I'd love it if Leeds could swoop in for him. Which ever of these two misses out on Rhodes will go after Leeds target Ashley Fletcher. We were supposed to have offered 1.5m for the striker over the weekend.

He goes on to sale that the wage bill at Leeds Utd was extraordinarily low, so not quite sure how still losing 8m. Barnsley fans at the Blackpool v Barnsley game were chanting 'we want Oyston out'!!! Morning Elland. Assuming Rad did forensic due diligence before buying in to the club and is half as good as many predict, I don't think the loss has any relevance. Doubt he is buying a pup on purpose!! We will have a much clearer picture of where we are in a few weeks if nobody leaves and one or two decent players arrive.
Bates used to post a profit every year but when you looked at the accounts it was done through player sales. Byram money looks like it vanished either clearing debts or into a Cellino account offshore. Still waiting to see what happens with Cook money as that will be in next years accounts. Not too worried as we know Cellino will be no different from GFH/Bates etc, but wonder about court costs, pay offs to former directors recently including Pearson?
