I remember dancing with the gorgeous Barbara Willey to that when I was 16.

"You talk, like Marlene Dietrich". Sigh...

    RIP Peter <rose>

My wife didn't know who he was, or what he sang despite her being the one to tell me when he moved to the same village as my mother in law. It's amazing really, I'm the one with decades of recreational drug use, and she's the one with the **** memory! <doh>
He was only 73 which is young these days :emoticon-0101-sadsm

    Had forgotten about miss gibbson.

What a decade though. Became a teenager in the eighties. Kim Wilde done it for me.

The eighties started 37 years ago, yikes.

So much has changed and we have all moved on. Just going to finish my pack of spangles, beat my sister on pacman, rev up the Capri and go and get my mullett trimmed.

Discovered a cool website with links to other sites today where you can discover and d/l music...

    http://wilfullyobscure.blogspot.co.uk/2008/01/various-case-closed-international.html

I clicked on this site below and found a couple of nice CDs called "Meet The Beatlesque" which is a double CD of songs in the style of The Beatles and "THE POCKET SYMPHONIES TO GOD" which is songs in the style of Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys,
The password to unlock the content after you have downloaded it is actually password...so you just type password into the box.

Days like today I'm glad I can work from home. That tube strike has turned London into the Hunger Games. It's hilarious/scary and depressing all at the same time.

A train conductor on a high-speed ICE train began to feel suspicious about a 22-year-old man who was spending a particularly long time in the toilet, a federal police spokeswoman told Spiegel Online on Tuesday.

She decided to open the door, only to find the bewildered man "as God had created him". Not only was the 22-year-old naked, he was also holding a kitchen knife - causing the conductor great alarm.

The conductor then alerted the federal police, who are responsible for overseeing train stations. The officers arrived to find the man in the toilet "stark naked" and shaving his pubic hair with the knife..

    Why?

The food gestapo are at it again. Apparently as you get older you should have your last cup of tea with lunch. Going to be hard to delay lunch till 10 pm, but I'll give it a go. :)

Something to do with causing lack of sleep which can result in increased chance of diseases such as cancer and dementia. All part of the modern idea that you can live forever. I suspect the increased chance is minimal.

ah, but I counter that by putting a pot of salt into every dish I cook and eating 6 bags of salted cashews every day .... I am getting the hang of this healthy living thing :emoticon-0102-bigsm
