100% that's what I'm hoping the new gaffer can install. Some confidence. Particularly in some of the younger lads like Robbo and McGuire. Other teams are interested in them because they have the potential to be cracking players.

I think a lot of people forget their age.

I mean Robbos only 22 ffs and look at him and the interest in him. He has all the ability to be a top 4 team player. Just needs to believe he can.

Harry gets criticism and called clumsy. He's 23 !!!! He will make mistakes, I don't think he has the same potential as robbo or natural ability robbo has but he can for certain have a right good premiership career.

These lads need believe and backing!

Mason played well second half also,
    Robbo was solid all game...
    And Maloney did well.
I was right behind and watched
Tymons goal, he really took it well,
looked like it went through the
    Defenders legs

Agree with most of what's been said already in this thread, but I'm curious how the decision to play him at RB was arrived at. Silva obviously can't know our squad that well and nor would anyone else at the club. I wonder if he had to just ask right then, who can play right back? And Dave stuck his hand up.

Abels back heel for Snodgrass who then finds Tymon in space to score. It was sublime - nice hold up play and a nice release of the ball. Certainly encouraging.

Silva. He's done all background work on the players at his disposal. He said as much in his interview. That's how he will already have identified players he wants to bring in - which he said the owners have the list.

Nice to see he also recognised who's the best keeper at the club - old clean sheet Eldin.

You reckon he'll start Eldin against Bournemouth?

Whatever he does, I just hope he won't be turned on immediately for it. There's already been a few over the top posts about it.

I do hope so. Surely common sense has to prevail.

Does he pick a keeper who has just kept a clean sheet or does he go with the keeper who on average concedes 3 goals a game.

Marshall was a very good keeper at Cardiff. At Cardiff.

I think Kemps means your strange aversion to appear to not be wanting Marshall rested PLT <ok>

That's exactly what I mean. Jakupovic is a very good keeper and Marshall er... really isn't. We'd have been 3-0 down at half-time if Marshall we're in goal.
