depends on time scale but deffo need 2 more midfielders though 1 could/should be a wide MF yes to CB as cannot see Gomez being ready for a couple of years . Wide attacker seems most likely this window according to rumour mill but we will see as thankfully less leaks from LFC these days re transfers

    Was the refs fault.

    Blame the BBC.

Also Plymouth having rested most of their first team were very very naughty and didn't let you win. To be honest they really should have scored in the last ten mins allowing you to concentrate on sliding down the league table.

Those moaning about way you guys played don't have a point. I haven't seen many on here slate Plymouth, if they did think was prob more out of frustration on how we played.

As you say, Plymouth never gonna win the fa cup this year so it's a cash cow for you guys and perfect result was a draw. Now prob doesn't help you with extra game in your promotion race but still in January that cash will prob come in handy.

Im assuming that was your first team that player? Thought you might make changes considering league is priority, is inagine would be similar side we will play in 2nd leg but with you guys at home, maybe having to come out a bit more will be bit more open which will suit us.

Still well played, deserved the draw and all the money that's coming your way from it <ok>

One thing would say, Plymouth manager seemed a bit of a dick with his 'welcome to the real world' comment about going to Plymouth

Not sure why everyone mainly pundits going on about extra game.

Just play same team... if anything works out nicely. The youth players get another competitive match this time away from luxury of anfield and give Klopp another chance to assess them before end of transfer window. Might help dictate if need to buy or if anyone can step up.

Only impact is training time but but in theory just train them separately so train first team for the weekend league game tactics and the fa cup team for that game. Assuming he knows what team gonna play then not really an issue.

Harsh. Ejaria was solid. Guy doesn't try to be something he's not. He's only 19, he's a solid CM that'll keep the ball moving near and tidy. He won't go on a storming 60 yard run down the wing or go cruncjhjg into tackles (may develop that in time) but for what he is he's decent enough at the moment. He's not tasked with breaking teams down that's the forwards job.

Ojo looked dangerous at times. Just needs to learn and decision making. Tried to cut in too much, reminds me very much of sterling early days. Playing on right and being left footed wants to cut inside, if he learns a bit of smarts then be a better player. Also 3 sitters? He missed the header and that was it...

Stewart again you just don't like for some reason. Guy is a solid DM. Wins the ball plays it simple. Didn't have much to do at make 1 crucial tackle which he did. Wasn't his fault that he was playing with 2 other basic CMs in ejaria and can so was no creativity there. He breaks up play and keeps it simple, he reminds me a bit of mascherano, bit of pace covers ground well, small and snappy in the tackle, loves a shot from distance despite never scoring!

? When did this happen? You of course have evidence to back up that this was indeed the overall view.

Not looking for either in that game. looking for tempo and speed of thought and he did shag all.

Ojo might have looked dangerous and kudos for tetting into good positions but he missed 3 sitters. He missed a header form 4 yards i could have scored, he missed a second header which was an easy chance and he headed it wide and he also missed a shot in a dangerous position.

Like woobrun basically showed more speed of thought than either in first half but faded and he missed a couple of really good positions too.

Stewart made one game saving tackle. after that he was like watching lucas on the ball taking pot shots and missing the target. he's nothing like maschernao and never will be :) scott bloody parker at best.
