90 days notice, if I remember rightly. Although I don't believe many would complain if athey requested to introduce a selection of favourable concession reductions immediately.
Totally agree, 100%. There is always the chance those around him can use good gestures, but if not, then perhaps we can feed the bank of goodwill for those who takeover. We must plan for tomorrow, as today is just about a done deal. I accepted that a long time ago.
It should but isn't. Our support is divided, as yesterday showed. Its also divided between those that think Ehab can come around and those that don't. Then there's me who isn't really bothered whether he comes around or not. I don't do Twitter and the Facebook page is just a bun fight about who is a proper supporter and who isn't, so I don't know if there is a sustained call for Hull City flags and banners to be bought into the KC. I don't know if there has been any requests for some of our old banners, Land of Green Ginger etc to be placed over the empty seats in the upper west when its shut. Even if the people who have the banners still attend, which is doubtful. I don't know if the Trust have approached the FSF to put pressure on the Premier League but I do know I've not been asked to do nothing more than raise a card at a football match.
It has to be the Trust; is there another body big enough? You piss with the dick you've ģot, comes to mind.
Open a Twitter account, get active. Get on FB & make a sustained call for flags to be displayed. Contact the Trust Contact the PL Contact the FSF Contact Ehab Contact the FA Contact the FL Contact the owners of the old banners Contact Barclays, I usually go for the Chairman & CEO. Contact Disability Groups Contact anyone else you can think of. Get active, don't wait for others.
Whether it be CTWD or the HCST, the very same people on here have sought to undermine them through this board. The 'likes' thing is a very clear example of this. Have you ever seen a post whereby someone disagreed or had a dig at a post from PLT or OLM without seeing DMD likes this at the bottom? If you have, you have a sharp eye. As for the support the team and take 'Hull City' flags with you thing. Not for me. I'll continue to boycott every game under the Allams tenure. It's my way and I believe if every one of us did the same, they'd have 'done one' by now. Boycott every game under the Allams tenure. Anyway...am I the only one to notice, whenever we protest against the Allams, we win?
There are posters who have had a gamble on us staying up; Ehab must be a gambler, as he is holding out for his price.
Well said. The last thing we want to do at the moment is put the new crew between a rock and a hard place. Their task is tough enough as it is.
It's a monthly commitment not a season long one like a season pass. Prices can be changed as part of the plan. This months payment £27, your next payment will be £14. It's simple & has no relevance to previous payments.
It's your choice to boycott but seriously come on, if everyone boycotted. That's ridiculous isn't it and not ever going to happen.
Although it may be against the Premier League rules to change the pricing structure during the season. I haven't checked but it would seem a sensible rule to stop clubs raising additional money during the season to avoid the fair play rules.
Your paranoia seems to make you miss the point. It's sod all to do with the individuals, but the content. I've tried to keep out of it because of the sort of allegation you make. Far from undermining it, a lot of people wanted to strengthen it. The replies on this thread show that there are alternatives, but they tend to be overlooked. Hopefully, more notice and involvement will be the future.
If they're lowering the price for certain concessions they wouldn't be increasing income, it would reduce income. Therefore no benefit. They would also be finally complying with rules. Obviously the increased income generated by selling more memberships, at the current rate & any new concessionary rates has already been given the go ahead as they are available all year round now at the current one price fits all rate. Of course prices can also be increased with 90 days notice. Also given the PL go ahead.
If there is a rule it may say they cannot change the price. If that is the case then it doesn't matter whether the cost goes up or down they can't do it.
