The supporters already have permission if it was needed. There is no restriction on us using Hull City.
I think you're barking up the wrong tree Fez - the Allam family will sell when they want, when they get maximum value for their investment ..... this is their prerogative. Nothing the fans, the PL, the FA or Hull City Council do will change this. The, in my opinion, undisputed fact is that since the Allams failed to obtain the ground and surrounding area from the council they've retreated into their bunker - CTWD and the trust have offered olive branches in the past all all have been rejected. We are where we are and nothing is going to change until the Allams decide to sell up and go. Bottom line, again IMO, protesting may make us feel good but, it makes not one jot of difference to the Allams.
I respect that but that doesn't stop you being part of a campaign to get concessions back or helping in other ways. In the meantime those that do attend should be doing more to reclaim the name Hull City in the KC. Marco Silva has asked for our support, we should give him what he wants and give him and his staff a proper Hull City welcome at the KC against Bournemouth.
I'm genuinely confused. Your position is exactly the position I have held since the very first days of the Name-Change nonsense. Nothing has ever changed for me. But to understand that and not seek ways of understanding how it might be changed is another matter. Time and again we will all have read or heard of folk painting themselves into a corner; indeed, we might just have supplied the paint. But, as enjoyable and satisfying as that might be, we usually have to get them out of there. There was a skill, perhaps, in supplying that paint, but there is definitely a skill in geting them out of their corner, without losing (too much) face. It isn't about beating them, or us winning, it should be about the club.
Absolutely spot on. The day the first name change application was announced the radio waves were full of blinkered premier league whores telling us all it was their business and they could do with it what they want. The day for united action was then, they are too far down the line to take even one step towards reconciliation with the fans. I'm comfortable with my ongoing boycott of home games, each to their own, but no amount of direct or indirect action will get those ****s out until they are ready to leave of their own accord.
We, including Ehab, should indeed give him what he wants. Ehab, who has said he'll back him, can aid this by introducing concessions immediately. The cost will be irrelevant, as per his open letter from 2014. Far cheaper than bringing in an extra player. In fact, the immediate increased income generated from new memberships could well help finance another player. The Trust could initiate communication off the back of Silva's interview. Then it's over to Ehab to back his Manager, as he promised. The other stuff should be happening anyway.
Too many "I" 's , not enough "we" ... it seems like a personal battle for you ... maybe take a breath and calm down and look at life a different way , you are really too wound up over the smallest of things you cannot control
I honestly don't think they're reasonable people who will ever meet anyone ''half-way'' - especially the fans who they've treat with nothing but disdain from the start. They have been offered olive branches and I can't recall anything, not even a hint, of anything coming back the other way. I think there's no way back for us and the Allams, they genuinely want out and the sooner this happens the better for all concerned. It's a sad tale but, there's always some bugger worse, we could be Charlton/Coventry fans.
Yes well said , that is the facts , no matter what boycott or protest anyone does , they will sell when they want to ... the best thing any supporter can do right now is do their bit to make the club as attractive as possible (eg good attendance, good fanbase getting behind the team etc) ... get this straight NOTHING ELSE WILL WORK ...
He can, easily. With a guarantee of increased income as a result. Back his Manager, let him have what he's requested.
Whilst he has Premier League cash, boycotts are merely a nuisance (I cant believe the Allams welcome bad publicity), but in the Championship it will be a different matter. The club will be worth much less and attendance revenue will matter. If (God forbid) the club ends up in league 1, then its worth no more than a packet of ***s, and they've spunked £100 million plus, which may just concern them a tad.
