National media attention isn't the only way to sort out the name change and concessions situation - which was another point already made. Sometimes there is a tendency to place profile above action in the Trust board's decisions. Again, in my opinion, as someone that now sits on the outside looking in.
Good post. I think Ehab refused to invest big because he thought he could sell, so why shell out his own coin on someone else's club. He's now ditched Phelan and recruited Silva. He may also back him with signings. Ehab is now keeping his options open, propping up the club should he not sell but making it attractive if he does. It kinda makes sense, as long as you realise he's been blundering around for a few months before finally getting there. I suspect he is finally taking some expert external advice from a footballing grown up.
Agree. If you want to argue with someone can you just keep it private so the rest of us don't have to waste our time reading this rubbish.
The membership scheme unfortunatly is here for the season. E Allam absolutly wants out but now knows prem survival is the only real way. E Allam has essentially wasted half a season and put the Club in a mess.. The least he could do would be grow up and call us Hull City then I would at least see him as a mature businessman
It's what's slowly happening to Hull City. Upset your loyal supporters, add in a dollop of failure and a stupid starting time, result empty seats.
Sounds like they are back with their true fan base there, the 5,000 or so who used to watch them from about 1980 to 2000.
MOTD didn't ignore it They tweeted about the protest and the presenter whose name I can't remember mentioned it after they showed the game last night
I've said it before but you posting weakens the trust. Posting **** like this just makes you look small mindedand a typical labor supporting hull gully ****tard like geraghty. Glad to see others are seeing it too.
He didn't think he could sell, we were sold until they failed the fit and proper. You say he's been blundering around? In what way?
Ben is a great person and a positive to me Bengals iv told you before. I have nothing bad to say about you bengals but believe me Ben is one of lifes good people. Well he did use to be a mod but I can forgive him that.
Not sure it was an organised boycott as such, just that the starting time of 1130, dictated by television, pissed off the locals and made it difficult for Lndon fans to get there in decent time. Apparently the earliest train from London to Cardiff gets in just after 11, not much time to get to the ground and no beer!
Ben is the type of person I was warned to stay away from filey when I was younger. Luckily I always ignore advice.
Cheers Scarbs. I'm still a Mod mind., always a Mod. Just a tubbier one than I used to be. When I suggested, a few years back, getting a scooter it was knocked on the head when my youngest said I'd look like Buddha on a bike. To quote the big man. "I'm still a Mod, I'll always be a Mod, you can bury me a Mod" Love you man x
Bit like us then. Yesterday was one of the best afternoons I've had watching City for a long time. It was just like the old days. Few in numbers scattered around the ground but everyone of us wanted to be there and support the team. The noise 20/30 maybe even less like minded fans can make when stood together was quite touching, it really did make a difference yesterday. I don't want to return to the old days of Boothferry Park either. I want to see us competing at the highest level possible backed by a full house of passionate fans. But yesterday was enjoyable.
