So the player judged by many to be the best keeper in the premier league when he was with Cardiff, is now not good enough for us - based on doing virtually nothing wrong? I just don't see the logic.
Is that why they were related having conceded 79 something goals... and who were the many....? 36 in 14 here... or something like... that can hardly smack of someone who is 'the best keeper' now does it..
Goalying isn't just about standing in the middle of the 2 posts and catching balls. A good goalie fires up the defenders, almost to the point of them being **** scared of pissing him off by letting someone through. They marshal (arf) the defenders, and control the area. A goalie like Jak inspires the defenders, its a team game after all, whereas all Marshall does is make people nervous. Jaks more mobile, has a wider range of shot stopping abilities and is generally just a better all round goalie than Marshall. IMO obvz. That he's a much better character also helps. Sure, he can make mistakes, even the best goalie in the world can, and does. But the rest of the package is enough to convince me that Marshall should **** the **** off, we're fine with Jak, Greegsy when he's back and a 3rd junior goalie.
It's deffo been on the wane recently, which for me is highly out of character. Really positive feeling at the mo. Yeah I know, but that's never stopped me in the past
What's the situation with Jak? Was he put in today because he's been our "Cup keeper"? Or has Silva been watching Marshall? Any mention in interviews?
To play with wing backs, you need three central defenders, currently we have none, so we won't play with wing backs against Man United.
It appears that the MOTM thread is only open for those that did physically attend, so it'll be easy to id the scabs. Kinda funny with the talk of the boycott, the only person I've seen be honest about it was Rick, who said he wasn't going to be going anyhow because it was a **** draw and was off to North Ferriby's game so wasn't claiming he was boycotting, despite his feelings towards the owners.
Mason interview with Burnsy post game....without saying it out directly he clearly insinuated that he is much happier under the new regime.
Message to you , it was ace getting to the ground in record time , having no que for a piss or a drink and then home in no time , so feel free to stay the **** away all the time ... Cheers
Along with Neville and Carragher? http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-jamie-carragher-name-premier-league-dream-xi Because judging a keeper solely by goals conceded when he's playing behind poor defences against some of the best players in the world is completely fair, no point looking at all he points he won Cardiff that season
