Aside from the ridiculous OG I've yet to see anyone point out mistakes by Marshall that have led to goals. Jak may turn out to be the better keeper, and may become first choice, but you lot really do love making out like players are performing worse than they are.
I've said all along, on here, repeatedly, that it's nothing to do with Marshall. In the summer the players created a fantastic all-in-it-together mentality that was obvious to see in the opening weeks of the season. Then as soon as we sign someone it's - bang - thanks for your efforts but despite the fact you've done nothing wrong, you're out. You cannot tell me that has not had an impact as we've not seen the same spirit again.
Well I was not far off. Right team and with Maloney coming on to make the difference as predicted. He was 1st class today. The kid is a proper footballer and had a hand in both goals.
Prefer the Yak as he is without doubt the better of our two dodgy keepers. The last consistent keeper we had was probably Tony Norman but for now,the a Yak seems to be flavour of the month. Don't see a full house against Bournmouth,20K tops but that might depend on a good result at Old Trafford. Never went today so won't comment.
Exactly. We're talking about two Hull City players here who both wear the badge and both deserve support. If one is in better form he should be in goal, but don't slag the other one off because he's getting picked and doing his best. If anything that's just one more reason why Phelan was such a poor manager.
I'm not saying that we haven't looked strong when Jak has played, and I agree that he shouldn't have been dropped in the first place. However, that isn't Marshall's fault. His performances have been perfectly fine and some "fans" attitudes towards him have been disgusting, they're desperate for him to **** up like he did for the OG. Give players a fair shot at it, don't fabricate that they are performing poorly when they're not, and support the team.
marshall is not good enough though that's a fact whether jakupovic is, is anothing thing but marshall is not the answer
Myhill was an excellent goalkeeper and it's a shame he's rotting on the bench at Weet Brom. I remember everyone used to lambast his kicking even though he was told to kick it to Elmo on the touch line. He could with big feet.
You do realise that Tuesdays game with MAN Utd is first leg of two legs .. therefore no penalty shoot out ?
