Non banter half way report

Been saying for a while that we're in for a **** few weeks now though. Was always going to be the case with Mane missing but Coutinho too? Possibly Hendo & Studge as well.

 

I'm not just happy but surprised where we are considering we have fitted 3 new players into starting 11 (plus dropped one) and shifted Milner to LB. The burden of the past glories is reflected in the hope that immediately builds after a good start in the league leading to the over reaction to setbacks we see. Mind you imo most football fans (including me) border on the bipolar as regards their clubs performance
I do worry about the paucity of the first team squad for the rest of the season but hey we will have a fun ride come what may.
I trust Klopp to keep improving us and much prefer his if i can't get my transfer target i'm not going to buy someone just to make up the numbers.
Lets just enjoy it & hope we get what we want

 

I agree. We are very much a work in progress and it will be at least two more transfer windows before Klopp has the squad he wants. As I have said before if we get top 4 this season I will consider it a successful season. CL will enable us to attract the better level of player to improve further
