Presumably it was 'the UK' that decided to dedicate foreign aid to an Ethiopian girl band. Bodes well.

 

The money can be better spent on funding British bands with British members, singing British songs. This country has a history of churning out great bands like UB40, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Jam, U2 etc.
