I don't think Ehab had heard of Silva when he sacked Bruce. Silva was not in job at the time and his name not mentioned. That means one of two things: -There is a buyer and hes reuqested this. -An agent has brought him to Ehabs attention. Silva would have jumped at the job in the summer so who knows?
Genuinley dont think there is a buyer at the table. Must admit if he was on the first list can not imagine the Allams pointing him out. As you say who knows
Oh yes, feel a bit disloyal to Dennis, but I had an interview for the coach drivers job today. After a few weeks at Allham Common, need to get back on track, Dennis. Interview went well. cant believe Silva himself conducted it. He was impressed that I'm teetotal my extensive experience of driving on the right hand side around the Algarve (I think he must be planning mid season breaks/ close season tours etc as this was in the job profile). I knew it was the right thing to do hiring that car when we last went to Albufeira. It was a very relaxed interview really, as there seems to be no one left at Kcom, I thought I ought to tell him about who's playing well/ systems etc, I did pass on Dennis's 'Billy Whitehurst' idea, which he seemed keen on. He was chuckling away when I told him about Ehab's little dick. Oh Dennis, he may contact you for a reference.
cant see why anyone would buy this club now , we are as good as relegated , might as well wait coz as things stand we have players who currently have value ,walking for free once we are relegated . . . only an idiot would buy now . As we know , its not like we have an abundance of players for the new fella to choose from ,players are gonna be out of position for the next couple of games - I think we are gonna have to produce a top ten performance to the second half of the season and the last time City had a better second part to a season compared to the first was 2008
****ing hell ..piss on everyones bonfire... yesterday and today there is light at the end of the tunnel..... or have you not been here...!!!
Good work Askew Keep the pretence up. No one apart from you on here knows that I am Marco Silva and we need to keep it that way Just playing around with formations for tomorrow, but I'm still waiting to see what people suggest on Chazz's MDT I'd give you a wave tomorrow if you weren't boycotting it (and I wasn't concentrating on the job I'm paid to do instead!)
I think you need to work on your accent a bit Dennis (Marco), as in yesterdays match preview you had with the press, you sounded more Russian than Portugese (I get my knowledge on what a Portuguese sounds like from Blackadder and Mourinho). I imagine to be a bit more portuguese sounding you need a bit more spanish influence. Throw in a few "Que's" every now and then and when you are asked where your current formation comes from, you can say you "got it from a book" (In a portugese/spanish accent of course). You may also want to let Askew know, i have heard it on the grapevine, that maggot dick is after outsourcing the transport solution. He currently has invited tenders from a few local transport companies (Ronnies Rent a Van, and Hinchcliffe and Buchanan Coach hire have been approached). Apparently they are also looking at going to some games by boat or something similar and have been talking to a couple of the new coaches (not the bus type) about their Pedros Pedlos business they had back in Portugal, and whether we could use that transport to ferry the players around. Some significant savings to be had allegedly.
It's not pissing on anyone's bonfire, it's bringing back a dose of reality. Of course we are as good as down still. Yes, it needed the clear out and this sort of appointment, but it also needed the Allams out and major, immediate strengthening, both of which clearly now aren't happening. Instead we have a Portuguese manager and his staff who have never managed in British football, with little to no time, a full on fixture list, fixtures that mean we'll likely be cut well adrift come mid-February, a wafer thin squad (with glaring holes), minimal investment and Enob in charge. Best not get too carried away. As good as this guy & his gang may (or may not) be, it simply ain't going to happen. Now, had the change come last summer, and with new ownership, we could rightly get very carried away with optimism. The genius of the Allams.
It might be worthwhile learning the Portuguese for the following phrases for today's post match interview 1) dust worselves down and go again next week 2) well we huffed and we puffed 3) we just lacked that bit of guile, that bit of guile Burnsy, in the last third
