Michael Richardson put Orient 1-0 up against Southend in the Carling cup. Currently 1-1. Good to see him get a goal in what I believe is his first start for them :)

Good to see that he is actually playing, which is what the loan deals are all about.

    I thought so too!

Just to let you know we were accepted into the Combined Counties League and played our first game at the weekend. Beat Knaphill 5-0. Really exciting stuff for us. Well i'm excited anyway ... ;)

I just hope he doesn't get too attached and we get a Lua Lua situation on our hands!

Great stuff! Should be interesting to see what the average attendance settles down to but I can see Guernsey being promoted more often than not in the next few seasons, it's be great to see them in the Conference South eventually. <ok>

Yeah great turnout at about 1,500. Had similar turnouts for pre-season friendlies AFC Wimbledon (lost 5-6) and Bristol City XI (won 6-0). Well above the norm for that league. Problem is with a population of only 60,000 I don't think there is the potential for it to grow much above that so it will be a case of how long can we keep the interest rather than what can it grow too. But i'm hoping.

I think we will prove too strong for the league we are in. Knaphill manager said he see's us as a Ryman level club at the moment with room to improve above that.

Bit of trivia. Our man of the match on saturday Ryan Zico-Black was Gazza's first signing as manager of Kettering. He paid £10k for him :)

I'm over the moon for Michael Richardson, my very good friend is an "O & Hammers" supporter, no doubt I'll be getting a full report.

If Tozer was still with us, it would be gd, he also scored with the mighty cobblers, going for another carling cup cupset again after beating Ipswich ATM and the beat L'pool last season!

Be sure to, would you believe she moved up here from London about three years ago, she grew up right outside Leighton Orients ground, she now lives quite close to Sunderland, (don't want to identify her location) her new neighbours invited her and her husband to watch the West Ham game
when they were playing at the SOL, they thought they were going to the match , but no it was only to the pub.
    How bad is that?

Sounds like a typical mackem way to watch a match if you ask me.

Yes well they got more than they bargained for, my friend is the most quiet unassuming person you could meet. The lady next door decided not to go to the pub feigning other commitments, it did not deter Mrs D she knew the (husband) neighbour wanted a lads only gig, so she stood her ground and went to the pub. She never wore her husbands away top as we suggested, but she had her Hammers scarf in her bag.
She wore it in the pub, and insisted on telling everyone "I'm a guest in your city" She got chatting to some locals in the pub and she said they kept asking her to say "Sha ap" She keeps insisting she had a lovely day, but I can't see her being invited back. :emoticon-0167-beer: The beer emoticon to remind her of her memorable day in the pub. I for one will be going to Bore(O) with her if we don't clash with a home game

Young Richardson is a really good player and getting starts and scoring goals can only do his confidence the world of good.
